The Painful Dance

As the others watch horrified
We let the blood drain
We wear our scars with searing pride
We show no shame in pain
They cannot fathom the inside
They\'ve never felt the burn
To every rule they will abide
but we choose to take wrong turns
We\'ll let our weary hearts rest
upon our sleeves to take
We\'ll chance our all on every test
let them slip off and break
Bumping into everything in our way
